Funding under this framework will be reserved for projects and investments in the areas of energy efficiency, pollution prevention and control, research and development and clean transport. Examples of significant projects that could be funded under this framework include energy and heat recovery, process and mining electrification, water purification, waste reduction and mining. metals from residual and recycled materials.
